My Dad, Thomas J. Schulze, Known as "Dutch," (1926 - 2011) served in the US Navy during the Second World War. He served as a Petty Officer, Quartermaster, on DD-594 USS Hart, a Fletcher Class Destroyer, in the Pacific Theater of the war.
